Broadening and bettering early care and education for ALL children in our area continues to be the mission for the Quality Child Care Coalition of Bucks County.  As we launch our newly updated web site and reflect on our 16 years of work, we continue to focus on providing professional development for early childhood teachers, advocacy, and building collaborative efforts.  These have been key to our achievements and resiliency amidst the changing systems, challenges in recent years.

Quality early care and education – especially for those children and families most at risk for failure – will reduce or avoid the need for more costly and less effective remediation and support down the road.

We are currently also exploring how we can bring more teachers and caregivers to join this meaningful and important work.  As the saying goes, “A Hundred Years From Now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove . . .  but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a CHILD.”
